Baltimore-based JUNKYARD SAINTS brew a potent musical stew of New Orleans R&B, roots rock and soul, and have performed with such notables as Buckwheat Zydeco and Chuck Brown, and have appeared at the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center and on National Public Radio. The Saints are recipients of Washington Area Music Association's 2006 WAMMIE Awards for Artist of the Year 2006 and Best Roots Rock Group 2006-2009. Bandleader Brian Simms was nominated for a 2009 Grammy.
